Every Monday the accountant pieces together the owner’s report from three exports. Invoices reach clients in the wrong layout, and warehouse labels are written by hand. And updating the database is scary: the previous developer changed something right in the standard code, and nobody knows what will break after the update.
1C customization closes these gaps one by one: a data processor loads the order from a file, the report arrives ready-made, and the print form looks the way you and your client need. We customize the 1C configuration through extensions and external data processors and leave the standard configuration code alone unless absolutely necessary. The database updates the standard way, and your customizations are not overwritten. The cost of 1C customization depends on the configuration and edition (Basic, PROF or CORP; standard or already customized), the number and complexity of data processors, reports and print forms, whether old changes to the standard code need to be moved into extensions, and exchanges with other databases and programs. Several small customizations are convenient to order as one package: one task review, one round of testing and one installation.

What is a 1C configuration extension, and why is it better than editing the standard configuration?
An extension is a separate layer on top of the standard configuration: new fields, buttons, reports and checks live in it, while the 1C company’s code stays unchanged. So the configuration stays on vendor support and updates the standard way, without lengthy manual comparing and merging. If a task can’t be solved without editing the standard configuration, we’ll tell you in advance and explain the consequences.
Will my customizations break after a 1C update?
An update doesn’t overwrite customizations made in extensions and external data processors. But if the 1C company has heavily reworked an object a customization relies on, it sometimes needs adjusting. That’s why, under support, we test customizations after every update on a copy of the database, before it goes into the live one.
Can you set up order import from Excel into 1C?
Yes, it’s a typical data processor for a wholesale company: the manager picks the client’s file, and 1C creates the order with line items and contract prices by itself. Products are matched by SKU or barcode, and lines that aren’t in the database are shown as a list. We load supplier price lists the same way.
Which 1C configurations do you work with?
1C:Trade Management, 1C:Accounting, 1C:Small Business Management (UNF) and 1C:ERP — both standard and already customized. Basic editions don’t allow configuration changes, so the options there are limited: we’ll say so at the start and suggest an alternative. If your database is in the cloud, we first check which customizations your cloud service allows.
How long does 1C customization take?
It depends on the scope: a single print form or report is a short task, while an extension with new scenarios is a project in stages. We state the timeline of each stage in the estimate and fix it in the contract. We work on a database copy, so your accounting runs as usual the whole time.
Can you fix customizations made by another 1C developer?
Yes. We start with an audit: we compare your configuration with the standard one, find every change and work out which ones are still needed. We move the ones you need into extensions and remove the rest, and the database gets regular updates again without data loss.
