Custom software
Custom software development: software built around your business, not the other way round
We build software you can’t buy off the shelf: internal systems and portals, accounts for customers and dealers, services that connect 1C, CRM and your website, web and desktop applications. Turnkey software development — from mapping the process to launch and support, while the source code and documentation stay with you.
from $3,000

A familiar picture: the CRM and 1C have been bought, yet half the work still lives in Excel, in messengers and in the heads of a couple of irreplaceable employees. Wholesale clients order by phone and WhatsApp because there’s no customer account, dealers call to check their prices and stock, and managers copy orders from one program to another by hand. Off-the-shelf software for a process like this has to be loaded with add-ons, you pay extra for modules nobody uses and bend the company’s work to someone else’s logic — and the subscription grows with every new employee.
Custom software development works the other way round. First we figure out how orders, money, goods and documents actually move in your company, and then we write a program that follows that path exactly. It might be an internal system for record-keeping and approvals, a B2B portal where wholesale buyers see their own prices and stock and place orders themselves, a customer account, a service that connects your website, 1C, CRM and marketplaces via API, or a desktop program for the warehouse. The software runs on your server or in the cloud, and we hand over the source code and documentation — you’re not tied to a single contractor.
What turnkey software development includes
- Process mapping and a clear specWe walk through the path of an order, request or document with your staff and describe in plain language what the program will do and how. You know what you’re paying for before the first line of code.
- Screen prototype before developmentWe show what the screens will look like and how each employee will go through their scenario. Changes at this stage are cheap, and your staff see in advance what they’ll be working with.
- Internal systems and corporate portalsRecord-keeping, requests, approvals, tasks, directories and reports — in one system with roles and permissions: a manager sees their own work, the warehouse sees theirs, the head sees everything.
- Customer accounts and B2B portalsAn account for customers, wholesale buyers and dealers: personal prices, stock, order history, invoices and delivery statuses. The customer places an order on their own, without calling a manager.
- API links to 1C, CRM and marketplacesWe connect the software to 1C, your CRM, website, Wildberries and Ozon, your bank, CDEK and Russian Post. Data moves from system to system by itself — no manual copying, no typos.
- Web and desktop applicationsA web application opens in the browser on any computer or phone. A desktop program is for workstations that need a barcode scanner, a label printer or work on a weak internet connection.
- AI where it saves timeWe hand routine to AI: sorting an incoming request, answering a customer, picking a product, drafting a document. That’s how the AI assistant on our own store’s website already works — it takes orders in the chat by itself.
- Launch, data migration and supportWe deploy the software on your server or in the cloud, migrate data from Excel and old programs, train your staff and hand over the code with documentation. After that — warranty and further development under contract.
Who custom business software is for
- Wholesalers and distributors who need a B2B portal or an account for customers and dealers — with their own prices, stock and order history
- Companies whose process doesn’t fit an off-the-shelf box: the CRM and 1C cover half the tasks, and the rest relies on Excel, chats and employees’ memory
- Retail chains and companies with branches and several warehouses, where stores, the warehouse and the office need one system instead of emailing spreadsheets
- Online stores and marketplace sellers who need their own service: connecting the website, 1C, warehouse, Wildberries and Ozon, or pulling reports into one window
- Owners who are tired of paying a subscription for every user and want their own software — with the source code owned by the company
How custom software development works
- Free consultationYou tell us where time and money are being lost. We’ll tell you right away whether you need development from scratch or whether improving what you already have — 1C or your CRM, for example — will do.
- Analysis, spec and estimateWe go through the process with your staff, write a clear technical specification and calculate a full estimate by stage. Price and timeline are fixed in the contract — no hidden extras.
- Prototype and designWe draw the screens and workflows for each role — manager, warehouse, head of company, customer — and agree them with you before development starts.
- Development with interim demosWe build the software piece by piece and show working versions on test data. You see the progress and adjust course along the way, not six months later.
- Testing and data migrationWe test the software on your employees’ real scenarios, migrate customers, products and stock from Excel and old programs, and fix whatever we find before launch.
- Launch and supportWe put the software into operation, train your staff and hand over the code, access and documentation. A warranty on bug fixes and further development — under contract.
Why order custom software development from us
- We build it for ourselves firstEverything we offer clients, we first built and tested in the Giant4 group’s business: our own CRM, an online store on 1C-Bitrix with 1C sync, an AI assistant, a CDEK and Russian Post delivery module, and a quiz calculator that produces a wiring diagram in PDF.
- Our own system in daily useThe whole group of companies works in our CRM every day: messenger leads in one window, warehouse, tasks, KPIs and payroll. We know first-hand how to build an internal system that people actually use instead of working around it.
- We know trade from the insideThe Giant4 group sells lighting products through its own online stores giant4.ru and giant4.ae, and on Wildberries and Ozon. Warehouse, stock, delivery and 1C sync are our daily work, not lines in a spec.
- Fixed price, and the code is yoursPrice and timeline are fixed in the contract before we start, and we hand over the source code, access and documentation to you. Giant4 IT is part of the Giant4 group of companies, in IT since 2022; international clients are invoiced by Giant4 FZ-LLC (UAE).
Pricing
from $3,000
The cost of development depends on the scope: how many roles and screens the software has, how many systems we connect via API (1C, CRM, website, marketplaces, bank, delivery), whether you need a customer account, a desktop version or hardware support, and how much data needs migrating from old programs. A small service for a single process is closer to the lower end; a system for several departments with integrations costs more. You can launch in parts: the main process first, the rest in later stages. Hosting and paid third-party services are quoted separately and in advance.
Prices exclude VAT. We confirm the exact cost and timeline after a short call and fix them in the contract.
Frequently asked questions
How much does custom software development cost?
From $3,000 excl. VAT for a typical task. The total depends on the number of roles and screens, integrations with 1C, CRM and your website, a customer account and the amount of data to migrate. We name the exact price after reviewing the task and fix it in the contract, and any new requests along the way are agreed separately — no surprise extras.
Which pays off better: off-the-shelf software or custom software development?
If a ready-made solution covers almost all of your process, take it and customize it — we’ll say exactly that at the consultation. Custom software development pays off when off-the-shelf software has to be propped up with workarounds, when you pay a subscription for every user and for modules you don’t need, or when your process is itself your edge over competitors. Your own software belongs to you, code included, and you can develop it without worrying about pricing plans.
Who owns the software’s source code?
You do. We hand over the source code, access and documentation under the contract. The software can be deployed on your own server — then your data never leaves the company — and you can keep developing it with us or with any other contractor.
Can new software be connected to 1C, CRM and my website?
Yes — without that, your own software becomes just another window for manual data entry. We connect via API to 1C, Bitrix24, amoCRM and our Giant4 CRM, to your website, Wildberries and Ozon, CDEK and Russian Post. Our online store on 1C-Bitrix syncs with 1C on its own — stock updates every few minutes — and we set up the same sync for you.
Can you build a customer account or B2B portal for wholesale clients?
Yes. In the account, the client sees their prices and discounts, warehouse stock, order history, invoices and delivery statuses, and places orders without calling a manager. Data is pulled from 1C and the CRM, and a new order goes straight to the manager and into your accounting.
How long does custom software development take?
It depends on the scope: a small service for a single process is faster, a system for several departments with integrations takes longer. We put the dates of each stage in the estimate and fix them in the contract. You can start with the main process and add the rest in later stages — that way the software starts working for you sooner.
Who will support the software after launch?
We will, under contract: we provide a warranty on bug fixes, monitor how the software runs, release updates and add new features as your business grows. If you have your own developer, we’ll hand them the code and documentation — the software is yours, and you don’t depend on a single contractor.
